Certificate III in Financial Services - (FNS30107)

Summary

  • This is a self-paced course.
  • Offered as an entry level course - Australia-wide.

  • Can be commenced at ANY TIME throughout the year.
  • Consists of 9 modules which encompass 18 competencies.
  • Assessed by module assignments (NO EXAMS); as well as on-the-job assessment by a Workplace Supervisor.
  • Assignments can be undertaken online or paper based.
  • Students must obtain 80% to pass each module.
  • Incorporates the FSR Tier 2 Training Course - Modules FS 304, FS 305 and FS 306.
  • Course fee - $1,800. (A 9-month x $200 credit card instalment plan is available.)
  • A Top Student Award consisting of a plaque and $500 is presented to the person who achieves the highest overall mark in this qualification in 2008.

Who Should Enrol?

People who wish to enrol in this qualification would:

  • Ideally be employed in the financial services industry or have access to a financial institution for research purposes.
  • Generally have attained the School Certificate or its equivalent.
  • Generally be an entry level employee with no tertiary qualifications and/or no finance industry background.
  • Usually be a New Entrant Trainee or in some cases an Existing Worker Trainee without any tertiary qualifications.
